Did the H1N1 vaccine kill a BC
mother?
‘RoadKill Radio’ demands provincial health
officer reveal
what he knows about
‘adverse reactions’ to H1N1 vaccine
& adds 9
questions to 23 still unanswered a week later
LANGLEY, BC (RKR News) — Mrs. Kari
Simpson, co-host of the Internet public affairs broadcast RoadKillRadio.com, has written a second
letter to Provincial Health Officer Dr. Perry Kendall, asking for a public
statement about reports of adverse reactions to the H1N1 flu vaccine, and
asking why the vaccine manufacturer’s warnings have not been made public.
“How can British Columbians give ‘informed
consent’ to vaccination if important information and warnings about
limited testing are withheld by the PHO?” she asks.
Mrs. Simpson’s newest letter, listing nine
questions—which follows a similar letter containing 23 questions about
the vaccination program, sent Nov. 23 after Dr. Kendall refused to be
interviewed on RoadKill Radio—was sparked by a report this week that an
otherwise-healthy Lower Mainland woman died two days after getting the vaccine.
In her earlier enquiries, Mrs. Simpson cited warnings
in the Product Information Guide (PIG) published by GlaxoSmithKline, the
manufacturer of the vaccine, which states that:
• The
vaccine has not been tested for use with young children; and
• The H1N1 vaccine should not be give in
conjunction with the normal flu vaccine.
Both those warnings have been disregarded in the BC
vaccination program, Mrs. Simpson says.
The new questions she has addressed to Dr. Kendall
include:
• What does he know about the
reported death of a Lower Mainland mother who died within a few days after
getting the H1N1 shot?
• Have
any other reported vaccine-related deaths been reported? How many? Where?
• When
Dr. Kendall wrote to BC business leaders about the H1N1 flu, he said H1N1 was
“mild” and “like the seasonal flu.” He did not mention
the vaccine; why not?
• In a
letter to the BC Sports Organization Coaches and General Managers Dr. Kendall made
seven references to the vaccine, but didn’t repeat the statements made to
business leaders about the “mild” nature of H1N1. Why not?
• Has
the Provincial Health Office’s integrity been compromised by failing to
provide all the facts to the public?
• Since
the manufacturer of the vaccine, GlaxoSmithKline, has been guaranteed
protection against lawsuits resulting from adverse reactions, have the
provincial and/or federal governments budgeted for compensation to victims? How
much?
• Is it
true (as one BC victim reported to RoadKillRadio.com)
that adverse reaction reports are not submitted for 30 days? Why?
“Above all,” says Mrs. Simpson,
“British Columbians who have seen the warnings in the PIG want to know
why that information hasn’t been passed on to the public.”
The full correspondence to Dr. Kendall follows this
release.

Re: H1N1 Vaccine related deaths?
Dear Sir:
Further to my correspondence dated Nov. 23, 2009
(which remains unanswered, despite assurances that it would be attended to
promptly)—I now have some further questions that require
your response.
I have information concerning a woman who died “unexpectedly” two days after receiving the H1N1 vaccine. She resided in
the Lower Mainland, and of course her family is devastated—her young children now motherless.
Dr. Kendall, does dying
within a few days of receiving the vaccine constitute an adverse reaction?
Dr. Kendall, are you
aware of this case? And if so, why haven’t you informed the public that there maybe a “possible” link between
her death and this experimental concoction?
Are you aware of any
other reports of vaccine-related deaths?
Dr. Kendall, I have a copy of your correspondence dated
October 22, 2009 to the BC Chamber of Commerce, RE: Pandemic H1N1 flu virus and
its effect on business. You state:
“… presently the severity of
this pandemic H1N1 flu virus looks more and more like that of the seasonal flu.
It is anticipated that the majority of illness will be mild, and that people
will be able to manage and recover at home.”
NOT ONCE in your two-page
correspondence to BC’s business
community do you mention the H1N1 vaccine or encourage members to get
vaccinated. Why not? Is there a class (or other) criterion for your
recommendation urging people to get the vaccine?
Dr. Kendall, I also have a copy of your four-paragraph
correspondence to B.C. Sports Organization Coaches and General Managers. In
this short directive, you mention the “vaccine” at least seven times. Further, you incorporate the now
typical fear tactics associated with the promotional propaganda “…Until we have sufficient supplies of vaccine…”
NEVER ONCE in this
correspondence do you make any reference to this “illness” as being “more like the seasonal flu” or that it will be “mild.” Why not?
Dr. Kendall, as a Public Health Officer you should be aware that
creating ongoing fear and panic can be devastatingly unhealthy for the human
body. Equally devastating, for a civil society, is the realization that those
who are appointed to offices such as yours may be withholding critical
information from citizens. Public confidence in your office is crucial if there
were ever to be a time when BC faced a true threat to our public health.
Do you believe, Dr.
Kendall, that you have compromised your office by failing to provide all the
facts about this vaccine to the public?
On November 24, 2009—on the RoadKill Radio show you were invited to appear on
(but refused)—we interviewed Dr. Chris Shaw
and we also spoke with a young man, a university student named “Adam.” Adam articulately shared his personal story
about his reaction to the vaccine; he spoke about how the resulting “brain fog” has now compromised his cognitive abilities, and how much
effort it took to get doctors to acknowledge that he had a problem. What was
interesting to me was his disclosure about the reporting protocols associated
with adverse reactions. He
informed us that the form would not be submitted for 30 days.
Dr. Kendall is this true?
DO doctors wait 30 days before submitting the forms reporting adverse
reactions? Will it take 30 days before you find out that someone died?
What happens to “Adam” now? Do we assist
him, or will it be necessary for him to sue? I am aware that in the Untied
States that there is a pre-approved monetary figure provided for vaccine
related illness because, as in Canada,
the manufacturer has been provided with indemnity against any liability.
Has Canada established a similar
protocol for monetary compensation from vaccine-related illness or death? And
if so, how much does it cost tax-payers to compensate a family that has lost a
mother, a wife, a daughter…? And how
much, for each day it persisted, would Adam’s “brain fog” be worth?
On page 4 of the publication British Columbia’s H1N1 Pandemic Influenza
Response Plan (2009) there is a
directive NOT to report “Systemic adverse reactions such as myalgia, headache and
fatigue.” Since these are possible side-effects listed in
the manufacturer’s Product
Information Guide (PIG), why not?
What are the projected
costs to our economy resulting from vaccine-related illness? Do we know how many people are already staying home
from work because of muscle pain, fatigue, etc., as a result of the
vaccination?
On page 5 of this publication I found the most troubling
proof that crucial information has been deliberately withheld from the people
of this province. It states:
“The product
leaflet will not be distributed with early
shipments of these vaccines and will be available online at http://www.gsk.ca/english/html/ourproducts/vaccines-canada.html”
Of course, that link really doesn’t take me to the important information put out by the
vaccine manufacturer, which is found at: http://www.gsk.ca/english/docs-pdf/Arepanrix_PIL_CAPA01v01.pdf
Tell me, Dr. Kendall, why
haven’t you
provided citizens with an information card listing GlaxoSmithKline’s admissions about the experimental nature of
this vaccine?
Dr. Kendall, I have information that suggests that you and
other heath officials are being required to keep your comments about the H1N1 vaccine to
a scripted commentary.
Is this true? Have you
signed or agreed to any form of agreement —from the vaccine manufacture or any other entity—that provides you with scripted content about the
information you can or cannot disclose as it relates to the H1N1 vaccine
currently available in British Columbia?
Dr. Kendall, in keeping with your legislative mandate I must
insist, on behalf of a growing number of concerned British Columbians, that you
promptly answer these questions, and those in my earlier correspondence. It
seems possible that your answers could be a matter of life and death.
For your convenience I am including with this letter a copy
of my earlier correspondence to you. It follows this letter directly.
Thank you in advance for your quick attention to these
important matters.
