RoadKill Radio OUSTED
from PHO’s H1N1 briefing!!
Kari Simpson demands an Apology &
Explanation!
LANGLEY, BC Dec. 10, 2009 (RKRadioNews) — Kari
Simpson’s most prized possession from this week’s H1N1 briefing by
the Provincial Health Officer, Dr. Perry Kendall, is a recording of a telephone
company functionary telling her “The government doesn’t want
RoadKill Radio to attend”—in spite of the fact that she had a
personal invitation from Dr. Kendall to participate.
That invitation had come at the conclusion of a long
exchange of correspondence in which she sought an interview with the PHO.
Simpson is demanding an apology from Dr. Kendall and wants
an explanation. She is also calling for an inquiry into reports—
confirmed for her from two independent sources—of the vaccine-related
death of a Lower Mainland mother of six children.
Background – Kari Simpson, co-host of RoadKill Radio,
had written to Dr. Kendall at his behest, providing questions she had intended
to present to him in an interview on RoadKill Radio, concerning the H1N1
vaccine. Dr. Kendall had responded to her Dec 2, 2009 correspondence, and
in his reply he invited her to attend his weekly briefings concerning H1N1
Pandemic Flu.
The briefings are held in Victoria, and participation can be
facilitated by attending in person or by phone. Mrs. Simpson called the
number provided, and identified herself and the media outlet she works for,
RoadKill Radio. She was thanked, and advised that the briefing would soon commence.
As Dr. Kendall began his briefing, Ms. Simpson listened to the updates. Dr
Kendall was just about to broach the subject of the vaccines when the call was
interrupted by a conference call technician, and Ms. Simpson was advised
that “the
government didn’t want her to attend.” (Click here for a copy of
the transcript)
Despite a personal invitation from Dr. Kendall, Mrs. Simpson
was banished from the briefing.
“I’m amused at the overt stupidity demonstrated
by the Campbell
government.” Mrs. Simpson said today. “Do they really believe
British Columbians will tolerate state censorship? I have to admit that
the best endorsement our media outlet can get is to have on the record a statement
saying ‘The Government doesn’t want RoadKill Radio to attend’
a government briefing—a briefing paid for by BC taxpayers!
“You know you’re doing something right when that happens!” stated Simpson.

RE: RoadKill Radio Ousted from your weekly briefing
Dr. Kendall, I would like both an explanation and an
apology.
I won’t assume that you know about the events that
took place on December 8, 2009 which make such a response from you necessary,
so I’ll provide you with a transcript of the exchanges.
You know by now that I value truth, and am a stickler for
facts. I trust you hold similar values. I also believe that “We the
People”—those whom you serve—have a right to be informed,
especially when it involves each individual’s health and well-being.
December 2, 2009 I wrote to you, and you promptly responded.
In your response, you
extended an invitation for me to attend your weekly briefings on H1N1, held on
Tuesdays @ 1:00 p.m.
I decided to take you up on your invitation and attend your
briefing - well, at least I attempted to… until I was told that the
“government didn’t want RoadKill Radio to attend.”
The events that took place involving your briefing of
December 8, 2009 confirm and amplify the growing concerns British Columbians
have about you, and whether this government is telling the truth about the H1N1
vaccine.
You claim a desire to be “transparent”; if this
is true, then my participation in your briefing, and any questions I might have
offered, would bolster your credibility; certainly you would have had the
answers, correct? Maybe not; perhaps that is why I was ousted from your
briefing. Could it be that the true facts about this vaccine—and the
actions of this government—are so compromised that you are terrified? And
that the legal implications are so obvious that, to defend your office, you
must employ tactics of censorship?
Dr. Kendall, what are you, your handlers and the government
so afraid of? I appreciate that the old-form media have been complacent and
compliant in their willingness to adopt whatever is prepared and scripted about
the H1N1 vaccines. I doubt, save for a few, that any have bothered to enlighten
themselves as to the facts
concerning this vaccine. I appreciate this compliant behaviour conveniences
your office (and that of the government); but it fails to make any valuable
contribution to the citizenry’s right to be fully informed—and
perhaps in some cases, their right to live.
I want an explanation, Dr. Kendall, of why you would fear my
attendance and deny my participation at your briefing yesterday. My RoadKill
Radio audience and the citizens of British
Columbia deserve an explanation, as well. Further, I
want an apology—and your assurance that when you say something, it can be
trusted—like an invitation to attend your briefings, among other things.
In closing, Dr Kendall, I have not yet received your answers
to my first correspondence, dated November 27, 2009. I have now sent a number
of copies; I trust that at least one has reached your desk. In the off-chance
your staff have failed to provide a copy, I have supplied a link to the
correspondence; just click
here.
In addition to those unanswered questions, I now have a few
more concerning the death of the women I referred to in my previous correspondence—a
healthy, a busy, active mother who died “unexpectedly” a few days
after receiving the H1N1 vaccine. In my correspondence of Dec 2, 2009—the
one you did respond to—you
stated that you had no knowledge of this case. For your information a
second autopsy is being preformed on her. Have you now been advised of her
death? And if so why haven’t you reported on it?
Lastly, something about
your response to my information about this case stuck me as very worrying. You failed to ask me for more information about it.
Why, as PHO, wouldn’t you want to know all the details you could acquire,
as fast as possible, about a possible vaccine-related death? I have quite a bit
of information on this case and numerous others. I think this one demands your
attention.
Dr. Kendall, the
woman’s husband, now a widower, would also like some answers. The
children and extended family would like some answers; and British Columbians
collectively deserve answers. Dr. Kendall it has now been over 2 weeks
since she died, how long does it take before you “report” on a possible
H1N1 vaccine related death? Are there other deaths we should be aware of but
don’t know about because you have not reported on them?
I would be willing to
meet with you at any time to discuss this case if you share my interest in
determining the truth.
The transcript of my
exchanges with teleconferencing operators follows this correspondence.
I trust both your
explanation and apology will be forthcoming.
Sincerely,
Kari Simpson
